HISTORY

Computer and Information Sciences Faculty was established by a decision of the Cabinet of Turkey (council of ministers) and the decision is published in the official newspaper with a number 2010/1049 dated 3 November 2010.

The faculty resides in Esentepe campus, and carries out academic activities by Computer Engineering and Information Systems departments. The faculty also provides organizational support on teaching basic informatics course services to the university.  

Computer Engineering Department has started academic activities in 1994 at Engineering Faculty. It carries out bachelor degree (normal education, night time education and blended education), master’s degree (thesis and non-thesis) and doctoral degree programs. 

Information Systems Department has started its academic activities in 2011-2012 academic year with Information Systems Engineering program.

Computer Engineering Department and Information Systems Department accept students with grade class MF-4 in the entrance exam.
